Information Clause

1. The administrator of your personal data is Rzeszow University of Technology with its headquarters in 12 Powstańców Warszawy Ave., 35-959 Rzeszów, Poland, prz.edu.pl , phone number: +48 17 865 1100, e-mail: kancelaria@prz.edu.pl
2. The administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer to supervise the accuracy of personal data processing. The officer may be contacted by e-mail: iod@prz.edu.pl
3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of:
   1. organizing and conducting the PRO-TECH-MA 2024 Conference by the Rzeszow University of Technology - hereinafter referredto as the Event - and publishing the conference proceedings, pursuant to art. 6 paragraph 1 e) GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;)
   2. contact people reporting to the organizer - pursuant to art. 6 paragraph 1 f) GDPR - processing for purposes arising from legitimate interests,
   3. in order to promote the Event - the image of participants during the Event may be recorded, documented and distributed in the form of photos and videos - based on their consent - Art. 6 section 1 letter a GDPR – on the Organizer’s website and in social media (art. 6 paragraph 1 f) GDPR),
   4. the provision by the Administrator of services by electronic means which consist on sending information by the Administrator about subsequent editions of the Event - based on a separate consent (art. 6 paragraph 1 a) GDPR).
4. The provision of your personal data is necessary to achieve the purpose for which they have been collected. The refusal to provide them means the inability to participate in the Event and the inability to receive information about all Events organized by Department of Materials Forming and Processing, Faculty of Mechanics and Aeronautics, Rzeszow University of Technology. Your personal data will not be shared with any external entities except for circumstances provided for by law nor will it be provided to a recipient in a third country or an international organization.
5. Duration of data storage: personal data will be processed until the completion of activities related to the organization of the event or until an objection to data processing is submitted and 5 years after its completion. In order to inform about the further editions of the Event, your personal data shall be processed until the revocation of the agreement is notified (as a basis for processing) or a notice of opposition to processing the data is notified.
6. The administrator might entrust the processing of your personal data to the external entitles which acts on behalf of Organizer for example, the IT entity dealing with servicing and breakdown recovery in the IT systems.
7. Rights of persons whose data we process:

• request access to your data and rectification of it,
• requests to limit processing,
• the right to object to processing,

as far as the law allows.

8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office) if you believe that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
9. Your personal data will not be subjected the solely automated decisions, including profiling.
